Laurel Nelson

Director of Business Operations and Strategy

Laurel Nelson has worked at UC San Diego since 2007 and at the Teaching and Learning Commons since 2015. She brings to the Teaching + Learning Commons a substantial breadth and depth of experience and knowledge in project management, analysis, and problem-solving. 

Before joining The Commons, Laurel served as the Director of Graduate Student Services at the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego. Prior roles include admissions director for a virtual high school, academic manager, production editor, and language arts teacher.
