Brian Crie

Brian Crie (he/they) is a first-generation college graduate and an alum from UC San Diego, where he received his BS in Chemical Engineering. He received his MA in Education with a specialization in College Counseling and Student Development from Point Loma Nazarene University, where he researched the impact of critical reflection on student sense of belonging. Brian is passionate about finding ways to allow students to be their authentic selves personally and professionally. He is excited to create change on campus to enrich the campus community, making a more equitable learning environment. 

Brian enjoys playing video games, exploring his hometown of San Diego for new food, and taking his dog on walks. Prior to joining the Experiential Learning team, Brian worked at both OASIS in the Math and Science Tutorial Program and the Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American (APIMEDA) Programs and Services. As a UC San Diego student, Brian was a student activist and was able to take those outside the classroom learning experiences into his professional roles.
